Rolf Thies - Architect
 Welcome to this website. It is created to display some of the work by architect Rolf Thies. It shows earlier work as well as some contemporary projects. This site is in no way complete but will be continously updated.
Rolf, born and educated in Germany, came to Sweden in the mid fifties longing to work in a country where modernistic architecture was well established and accepted in the building business as well as in most peoples minds. After working for other architects in Stockholm Rolf founded his own business in 1960 and has since then, by himself or as project leader for his staff, created public buildings, housing, private estates, interiors and furniture. Rolf has also been active in the ever ongoing debate about architecture publishing articles and books.
